Purpose

The Division of Academic Affairs established the Department of  Online Education and Training (OET)   to create, promote and support efficient and accessible online education at California State University, Fullerton. This new undertaking supports the University's mission and the goals of the CSUF strategic plan.

At CSUF, Online Education and Training encompasses the use of instructional technologies in face-to-face, blended or hybrid, and fully online teaching. We support faculty in the use of CSUF's Learning Management System, TITANium, and technical products integrated with TITANium. We advise and consult in the use of instructional technologies, curating and making available examples of best practice. We develop tools to assist faculty in the design and delivery of online education. We train and consult in the implementation of online instructional activities, course redesign using technology and the creation of new online courses and programs. We assist in the production of instructional media components including the coordination and maintenance of several media studios.

Much of what we do will be available on this website, but we welcome visitors to our workspace at The Faculty Commons on the second floor of Pollak Library.
