Adobe PDF Accessibility Guides
Adobe Portable Document Files (PDF) are frequently used by faculty in their Canvas courses to provide students with documents which may better retain their original formatting. However, PDF documents are more difficult to make accessible than are Word or PowerPoint documents, so if you still have the original Word or PowerPoint, edit and use those originals
rather than spending time trying to fix the PDF version.
These PDF guides below can get you through the basics of creating and/or editing PDFs to make them more accessible to your students.
