Dr. Shelli Wynants was appointed the director of Online Education and Training in January 2017.  She has been a full-time member of the CSUF faculty since 1996, working in the College of Health and Human Development.  She received her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Cal State Fullerton, with her research focusing on Universal Design for Learning (UDL).  UDL is an educational framework based on research in the learning sciences that guides the development of flexible learning environments that can accommodate individual learning differences.  She is a CSUF Affordable Learning Solutions Ambassador, is certified as a Quality Matters (QM) Quality Assurance for Blended and Online Teaching Peer Reviewer, and created a CSUF online course that received national QM certification.
